After the initial test, we made some changes to the DSL designers. The Navigation Model DSL is quite simpler, showing only the model overview. Particular properties for attributes, search spaces, actions are made using the associated Property grid, supporting properties in a tree arrangement. The same can be said for the Use Case model (states machines).

We have added a custom Himalia Controls Toolbar, to search all over the local database of controls. 

We already have the first alfa version of the Himalia Controls for WinFx (Avalon) running on the winFX beta 2 June CTP. Now, we are working in a few details with the designer and in the first showcase. And improving the model, and...

Now we show the four main Visual Studio editors: User Profiles, Use Case, Navigation Model and Layout.  

 

We will be testing the editors for a few weeks, and then, as soon as possible, we will pack them into the first beta release.

In this image you can see the Visual Studio 2005 IDE, containing the first Himalia user interface definition project in the Solution Explorer. The beta version of the Himalia Designer for Visual Studio will be available soon..
